Hume is THE Anglo understanding. English itself in its words and machinery for the fancy and impression is syntactically distinct from the Chinese or Russian views. It is not distinct from German. Language itself is a conceptual machinery that affects where you place delimiters to chunk continua. Upon learning English you are continually shocked to learn the historical defacto way English etymology is versus the systemized scholastic way it is in the East. Language itself is politically determined by a few sovereign dictates that affect the hundreds of subjects. Its why Spain and Spanish is not on the list. There is disagreement in Spain to call it Castellano because Spain is multilingual and the nonCastillian regions cant say shit about their place. Spain took all of Latin America and never do we hear or do I hear as a Spanish speaker and scholar a damn good thing on the internet. I have to learn German or Japanese if I want to flex on Anglos. For now Anglos flex on me.
