So here is more fake science
Cryogeneics - i think that if a body can be put into a chemical coma then immersed in a liquid that acts as a "greasing agent for the process of osmosis" and if this agent could allow the osmosis through the entirety of the body proteins and minerals could be replenished and if the liquids freezing temp is lower then the freezing temp of water the body could be slowly brought down to a temperature where the biological process of deterioration would slow to the point of almost stopping.
