I’ve recently been redpilled when it comes to the word “edge”. Or just characters that people consider “edgy”.

It’s all bullshit.

The term edge is nothing more than a meme, popularized by the meme and irony filled, postmodern culture. The internet has made everyone cynical and jaded. They’re hollow shells of human beings who can’t handle any actual seriousness without calling something edgy. Now that I’ve been redpilled, I don’t feel as creatively restrained. I don’t think to myself “wow that’s too cringe or edgy”. Now I can write characters a lot better and even create more serious storylines without any type of lingering tension of being called cringe or edgy in the back of my head.

Join me please. Take the edge redpill and never look back.
