Sometimes Spengler says something wonderfully abstract that can be applied immediately, like
>have you noticed that late civilizations apply this form of chessboard architecture?
at other times he'll say something like
>aren't the Aztecs quite obviously Apollonian, and the Maya quite obviously Faustian?
and that is where people get lost, because you require historical and modern references.
