I know Gravity's Rainbow gets all the fame, but is pic the best example of postmodern literature? It clearly demonstrated pomo literary techniques and pomo philosophy of intertextuality and plays with the textual understanding of history.

Sincerely lit, you disappoint me. How come that this book is not considered one of the best novels of all time? Especially the best work since its production. Why must I dig so gravely for an emerald of this size? You fucking gay retards

Thoughts on Umberto Eco? Haven’t seen him talked about much on here since everyone just loves reiterating the same garbage about Dosto & Nietzsche. Bought this today and enjoying it thus far but I’m not familiar with Italian literature.

The Name of the Rose is pretty great, it is a historical murder mystery set in an Italian monastery in the year 1327.
