I understand OP. I am playing mental games with the marketers and puppeteers in every decision I make, and more often than not, I see myself losing. It is crushing. I find myself living inauthentically all the time, trying to become another being-in-itself. Life lived free is exhausting and unrewarding, so I keep setting myself on a fraudulent autopilot. None of it is much fun.
