I decided to flip through the net for other communities where SFF is commonly discussed.

Of course, one of the first results was Reddit.

Are you guys patient readers? My biggest problem, I think, is I never learned patience. I can sit and read for an hour or two without pause, but when a book takes long to read I grow impatient, and I find my attention straying to something else after a few days of reading. What happens is I usually end up skimming the last half of books to finish them quicker. It's not even like I'm lining up new books to read. It's just whatever I'm currently not reading is always more appealing. I usually just get bored of something and want to reread a favorite.

Is this the price of being raised in a hedonistic millennial world?
