What book are you currently reading and how are you feeling?

No books will help with loneliness. No one has texted me in weeks. I’ve been dreaming and obsessing about the one girl I had a relationship with and after trying to hold back for days, I just sent her a message out of absolute desperation. She hasn’t replied yet. I am trying to read a Thomas Mann novel, but the interactions between the characters are worsening my feelings. My life is ruined and I am alone for the rest of it, alone and plagued by the memory of every awful mistake I made to end up in this position. I can’t stand it
