Yes, it is absolutely possible. It can be caused by a series of different things. One anon has already pointed out alcohol withdrawal as being one.

I had a good friend who became an alcoholic before I met him and would constantly have shaking hands and arms. He told me it came after he had a 12 day whisky binge. He was a train hopper and apparently all they do is drink.

I have another friend who just recently experienced this only he not only has the shakes but also now has seizures. He is far worse off than my other friend.

He is a lonely young boy, who is trying to figure out the line between innocence and sexuality, which means he calls girls because hes lonely, but then he also wants to have sex with them. He tries calling a lot of people, including a girl who he likes, innocently, and then when he starts to feel lust for her, he decides not to call her. In the same way, he visits Phoebe because he has an innocent relationship with her.

One major thing was wanting to help people. To create something that inspires, to go into politics to help directly, whatever.

Now that seems impossible. At any moment I can, and do, flip my values, so what was once worth advising no longer is. Mostly though while in conversation with someone itll happen at once, both values coming up and both seeming reasonable.

So a big value was helping people.
Now someone today comes to ask for help, lets say advice on what to do with their parents dying. At the same time I feel I should tell them that this is horrible, that they are losing so much because they care so much and I too feel so much for them, but at the same time I want to let them know that NO, you cannot face death like this, how are you going to face your own death if you act this way with other's death? You need to embrace death so that you can live a better life and at the same time not die in some hellish psychological panic attack. And so on.

I do need to exercise and plan on it. I tried listening to people more last night with my two hallmates, and they told me, while drunk, that they both raped a girl. Im not with the best people and desperately, fucking desperately, want to find new people who give a damn about anything that matters. Im dealing with writing and philosophy right now for an intellectual pursuit. Also piano.

The knight of faith...what a pleasure that would be. Ill give that story I read, I havent read a good piece of fiction the last couple of books.

I really dont want to go too much into this and turn into a blog, so ill keep it brief. From 16 onwards ive become more skilled in spotting fallacies, bad thinking, or simply gaining a sense for when someone's arugment feels "fishy". Overtime I have gone over with myself and others many specific debates that I have to deal with in everyday life, like buying a product that most likely at one point was made in an unethical manner. Ive become conscious of small things like this and changed my habits to be more "ethical". I think quite a bit about death, and just what it means to me. I used to have nervous breakdowns and panic attacks over it. Now it is very odd. I dont feel anxious about death, and with that life becomes strange. Why go to college? I could be homeless somewhere and be happy, I could die tomorrow and be happy, most likely no matter what I will be happy, so what do? Also, I have become far more emotional, maybe too much. I want to go to a psychiatrist and have them check me out just to see.
