Wistram Days is a good backstory for some characters, though I understand why a novel worth of prequel events might be frustrating. However, the events in Wistram Days are incredibly important to understand Ceria, Pisces and their relationship to each other. Additionally, later on Wistram and characters within become incredibly plot-relevant, making these chapters crucial to understand what's going on. At the very least the conclusion to the arc is emotional kino.
