The assumption he's right wing in any way is completely bizarre, he's a centrist through and through. It's interesting how left we've swayed as societies when a centrist is being labeled as far right by journos.

From my point of view the average people, the silent majority, the classic liberals, have taken their ideals for granted (myself included). And it's such a breath of fresh air to hear someone credible and informed not only remind us of what's being threatened, but also bolstering it.

I'm not saying anything like 'the sheeple are waking up', i suppose in simplest terms i'm saying it's just nice to be reminded that not everyone has gone fucking mental.
