I'm looking for a Kafka short story I read years ago. All I can remember from it was that it ended with something along the lines of "and you make this all up in your head one evening looking out your window."

I've been skimming through my collection of Kafka stories but I can't find it. It's been so long since I've read it that it may not even exist, I'm probably just insane.

Help?
