Why do atheists don't seem like actual atheists but people who just hate on Abrahamic religions?

And why do these same atheists rave over Buddhism or some esoteric philosophy/religion at the same time?

Individualism gone too far if you ask me. They hate Christianity because it strips them of their so-called freedom and rather the universe and their philosophy surround them. A pitiful amount of self-importance. It also leads to the idea that belief or religion/spirituality is innate to the human experience. So many ex-christians experience mental health problems. They make posts on reddit saying after abandoning their god they feel they have nothing to live for and need a "belief" of some sort.
