The last thing I wanna be is combative or rude in asking these questions but here are some things I've always wondered about Mormonism. I have written papers about the Latter Day Saint Movement, and know much more about it than the average non-Mormon, but there are still some things that have always confused me.

For instance, if there are supposedly multiple gods, who was it that created the Lord we as Christians worship today? How do you reconcile these two statements:

> John 8:58 'Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.'

>'As man now is, God once was; as God is now man may be.' -Lorenzo Snow (5th LDS President and supposed Prophet)

How can you grapple with the fact that Mormonism necessitates that a never ending stream of gods must have created other gods, eventually leading to the one we have now? How can there be one, objective truth in a reality that contains within it multiple omnipotent gods, none any more significant than another? Doesn't this place moral teaching in and of itself on a higher level than the Lord Himself, from whom all truth must flow if it is to be objective and just?

In my opinion, there are some real philosophical shortcomings in Mormonism. While I believe that God's hand is quite visible throughout the history of the LDS church, and that Mormons who truly have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and who truly give their lives to Him will be saved, I also think there are some troublesome teachings.

God has created your sect for a purpose, and He still loves His children regardless of misinformed teaching, but I think there are some pretty brazen fallacies within the LDS religion.
