Wrong. We won't be wasting that money on pop-entertainment, yatch, McMansions and other garbage whose revenues go to waste and is only trickled down again to be wasted on other crap on a smaller scale like airpods and condoms. Innovation is vague and meaningless, and often wasteful (I've owned the same smart phone for a decade). Economics is a pseudoscience and policy decision made from it is retarded. The only sensible thing is to no longer leave it to chance, and have the state assume the means of production, which could be directed for some grand purpose like building massive housing complexes, and sending thousands of rockets to mars.
