Newfriend here, I'm not great at writing books, but I love the narrative potential in interactive mediums. Specifically game stories, where the player/protagonist has agency to impact the story itself. I think it comes from engaging in roleplay from a really early age
Anyways, I think I'm going to start actually considering myself a writer and attempt to break into the indie/hobby game development sphere and make some kind of name for myself there. Dialogue writing comes easy for me

I have always wanted to read books but I never ended up finishing them out of boredom from the contents or feeling sleepy even if what was written in the books was interesting, this pushed me away from reading as a whole. What are some tips for someone like me, where to I start and how do I stop feeling drowsy? Thanks for the help /lit/

My grandfather has become senile, and it has caused a lot of problems. At what point would you KYS in such a situation? I think having a handgun for KYS purposes is a good idea, especially considering how fucking shit life can be at times. I will definitely be trying to get a gun so that I can end it all once I start forgetting the woman I've been married to for 60 years. This life thing is some fucked up shit.
