I think one story is worth your time, The Tower of the Elephant. It provides a good overview of what to expect from the Conan universe and is one of Robert Howard's best. If you don't care for that one, you can comfortably stop there. If you do enjoy it, I would also recommend a few others.

I've read all the Conan stories. I prefer Howard's other characters, especially Kull and Bran Mak Morn. Conan is still great though, pure entertainment, modern fantasy writers could learn a lot from how much Howard could pack into a short story. I think sword and sorcery is associated with video games nowadays, most fantasy writers seem to either write multi-volume autistic epics or "woke" social commentaries.
