I have always been bad at math. I never took calculus in high school. I flew by the seat of my pants into a top U.S. liberal arts college. My major is English, a subject which I've always had an aptitude for, but I know that I'll never get job offers with that major, so I've decided to pick up a minor in data analysis, even though I'm terrified by math and also suck at it. How do I overcome my fear of math? How do I do it with confidence?

Just how hard is it to get a literary novel published? I mean, it can’t be that hard, right? The number of people who manage to finish novels, let alone start writing them is vanishingly small. How much competition can there possibly be?

What are some books to read for someone who is socially illiterate?

The only thing that keeps me from reading romantic classics like Jane Eyre and P&P is because it seems like only women read that shit.
