It wasn't a food analogy, wasn't even an anology, it was a literary reference (picrel). You are just playing games and trying to be right.

Trout Fishing in America is essentially what you would get if you reduced Sombrero Fallout to one page long and did that 100 times each time doing it in a different way and then tying them all together in a cohesive book, it is Brautigan at his most experimental. Picrel would be where to go with Brautigan and fish if you want something more traditional and shows Brautigan at his most refined and nuanced. In Watermelon Sugar also has trout in it and would not be a bad place to go if the surrealist elements of Sombrero Fallout really did it for you but fish only play a small role.

The man liked trout.

If OP pic is accurate then give picrel a read and get back to me. I love the short slim girls especially if they read. But we will probably never meet and for some reason I always end up with the tall girls anyways, such is life.

I hate the anon that point out the ball in the picture to me, it was such an intriguing photograph before that. Anyways, picrel.

I don't agree with this completely, there is more too tempo than paragraph size and dialog breaks a tempo set solely by paragraph size. Generally I would say you should control tempo through the smaller structures, the language itself. A paragraph made up of very short sentences will have a fast tempo regardless of the length of the paragraph and an author like Brautigan managed to write a novel which feels very slow through idea despite the very short paragraphs, sentences and simple language, picrel

it has People Mover and Call of the Arcade so clearly 4chan. The anon who made it just filled in the first thing people mentioned for a state, he was a third worlder if memory serves so had no ability to judge the responses. Think that image might actually be an early version, vaguely recall Twilight, CotA and People Mover got culled and some other tweaks, but that could have been a different thread.

Spanish speaker? I am not sure if you are looking for science fiction, did you actually mean
> the reflexion on time OR the science fiction side please.
as in one or the other or did you want both? Science fiction with a reflection on time?

Either way, picrel is great and is a reflection on ones past using a fractured narrative much like SH5, just exploits the fractured narrative more and replaces science fiction with surrealist qualities.
