Referring to something in its context gives a broader image. For example, if I were to refer to it as gene therapy injection, one might be led to believe that it is indeed beneficial but if I were to refer to it as an experimental gene therapy injection one might get the impression that it hasn't been tested for longterm side effects that may harm the host.
