Someone claimed to me that this chapter is about God stating jews are allowed to murder non jews and take their property. I read the chapter and see nothing of this nature. I see Moses is having a conversation with God and that God won't reveal his face because it would kill anyone who saw. What does this mean?

You have to find reasons to believe you are special and have lived a truly unique life, I guess?

How true is that statement even? I'm sure there are successful authors out there who have lived normal and boring lives, but they write for a specific market and have no problem selling.

Once you're an established mainstream writer working for the trad pub houses, getting paid vast sums of money to push whatever narrative the state wants, does it even matter if you write it yourself or merely give creative guidance to a team of writers and editors who make your outline happen, then the team of marketers and bot accounts/instagram e-celeb shit go to work shilling your books or getting it added to Obama's reading list.

You have to believe you are a part of the counter-culture, or how are you going to make in-roads to the dominant culture where media is so tightly controlled and censored?

Can you list off a few interesting characters you've met in real life? I can recall so many people I've known, from mild to wild, and everything in between. Here are some that I can remember just off the top of my head:

>bente dos, or 22, my taxi driver in Costa Rica who took us out to a shooting range where we got shot back at...
>alicia s., a small town girl who moved to Vancouver, I met her at an art show, while standing next to a piece of artwork made with individual dots from a horse hair dipped in ink, the young lady commented on my camera make and model. She was big into canon 5D MKII's at the time. At another art show, she was introduced to LSD and she ended up in the mental hospital for 3 weeks.
>John d., local business owner and fellow cokehead, we sat at the same table doing a whiskey tasting, he bragged that his tv show was being picked up by a major network. Months later, at his wedding reception, his fiance brought a laptop with a video on it of him fucking one of his employees on a hidden camera. Guy came from a rich family and this shit got memoryholed so fast.
>Donny, another small town kid who moved to Vancouver after making 100's of thousands in the oil patch. He had so much money to burn but would stay at the hostel above The Cambie, not surprisingly he was mugged for his $8000 dollar bicycle, which he then replaced with a $10000 bicycle. One day, one of the waitresses at the local bar was crying. Donny OD'ed from fent in his coke
>Gina, a disabled woman I used to drive around to get groceries. She enjoyed one song and one song only:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WUiJFCo9xk
Despite being handicapped and almost-catatonic sometimes, she had a perfect memory and could recall details about things that blew my mind. Also her senses were heightened and had an uncanny ability to predict things.
>Mohammed, I knew this brown kid who was into raving back in the day. He hung out in IRC chats and dabbled in electronica, one of the babes I was trying to bone actually ignored me to chase this guy down and take his virginity. Strangely enough, she dosed him with e to take advantage of him, which then turned him into an odd predator where he would then try to force girls to take e and try and sleep with them. One day, he tried that on the wrong girl and got the shitkicked out of him, which resulted in a short hospital stay where he got hooked on opiods. Rumor has it that he became a gay prostitute to cover his drug habit before OD'ing and dying from fentanyl

Why would you pity someone who is enjoying their life? This is a very fun time for me, tweaking my process, getting ready to set a launch date. The ads will be fun to make.

Come to think about it, I should get another tripod so I can start a YouTube channel and discuss the progress, other recent books like Waldun's and Gardner's latest (released July 1st!) Not only that, but I should also film replacing my clutch on my turbo 5 speed car. Also need to shim the wastegate so I can get more than 14 psi of boost...

What exciting times do you have in your life?

My 1st book I sold 100-200 copies while sitting at bars. I made a trailer for it but did not promote it with any purchased ads or anything because I will still struggling with getting out of selling porn for a living and still doing cocaine all the time.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFykUltGh_k

Overall, the process of writing the book and releasing it was incredible and did amazing things for my life.

2nd book is finished and being polished as I wait for my order of hot glue pellets to show up. In Vancouver, it was over 40c for 3+ days and my glue seems to have gone bad. I should have stored it in my car in the underground parking!

All I need to do is figure out how to sell 2 or 3 books a day and I can survive with a part-time job while writing more. I did a job driving trucks at night awhile back, drove a 5 ton from 11 PM to 3 AM and made enough to writer during the day and not be too poor. It was actually a really enjoyable lifestyle and I actually miss the peace of driving at night. Was very /cozy/

I think your conclusions are put in your mind by someone else. It is completely illogical to deny yourself the pursuit of your art.

Huge life lesson that I learned the hard way. You have to, and are fully capable of, self-generating your own motivation. That internal optimism will guide other souls that seek the light towards you.

>Cheap food or a shitty book?
Well, they don't know it is shitty until they read it. People at the liquor store I've given the book to love it! People will see it as an alternative to the completely pozzed entertainment industry that has simply recycled the same shit over and over while putting IDpol above storytelling.
>I could replicate your unremarkable ouvre
Definitely not, you have no lived a wild life and you do not know Vancouver. You are as pedestrian and NPC as they come!
>Assembly line method for pimping out books
I guess Amazon and Lulu use ancient chinese masters of book binding that do everything by hand? Let me guess, you think it is a bad thing cars are made by robots?
I can print the books for $1 in costs, try finding out how much print-on-demand would charge you for printing 100 of your books and then ship them to your house. That cuts into your profits BIG TIME.
What do you sell? Do you create anything you can show here?

My waifu and I were watching Netflix last year and she clicked on the Bill Gates documentary they had.

10 minutes in and we turned to each other and both agreed:
>they are sucking his fucking dick so hard and trying to make him look like a nice guy BECAUSE he has such vile plans

NOBODY seeks to be validated like that unless you're one evil mother fucker.

I will check out the autofiction. The way you have eloquently stated the ebb and flow of the discourse on here is amazing. How many Infinite Jest posts can we have?

For an author like myself, the only way I feel I will get readers is through buying ads places. Like you wrote, spending your time on here... is it worth the vitriol and hyper-critical remarks about your work? While the free speech is beautiful to have, the userbase of the website is so demoralized and blackpilled that their default state is to suffocate and choke the creativity out of this place.

So far, the only answer I have, is to just be more positive and encourage people on here more. I try, but very, very few authors openly admit to posting here.

It’s such an achievement to be a person to whom others actually want to, actually are willing to, listen. Almost everyone wants to just talk in some way, shape, or form about themselves; and while someone else speaks, they are “listening” exteriorly yet interiorly formulating the plan of attack for their next stab at self-aggrandizement, that is, what they are going to say next.

How do I know if my work is readable? I mean, why would I even show it to anyone when the creativity, plot, themes... none of that matters unless some anonymous person on /Lit/ approves that I have arranged the words in a pleasing way to them. Why would anyone even bother when there is no actual discussion on the book, merely constant attacks on the "quality of writing" which is, of course, highly subjective.

When I released my first book, I bought copies and sold them at bars and through a couple friends via word-of-mouth.
>Sold a hundred copies?
I was still making good money in another industry so I didn't really market the book at all. It wasn't until a few years later that I realized I wrote it as a confessional to all the things I wish I hadn't had become. Thankfully, the act of that confession allowed me to get out of that lifestyle.
>I wrote a ton as a kid after playing a game I really liked, Hillsafar
>I wrote a ton as a teen
>I wrote a massive shit-fuck-ton in adulthood
As I get older, writing gets easier and my work gets deeper, I feel like I'm finally ready to really jump two-feet in and actually promote my next book via ads. It feels like the right moment to become the author I was meant to be after a 20 year detour in life.
