Can you recommend an mp3 player from Walmart or Amazon that allows you to fast forward a multi hour long audiobook in a minute or two?

Genuine sandershill here...
What the fuck is this? I’m halfway through Rhythm of war and I’m having a real hard time staying strong.
He italicizes way too much, and why the fuck does he use an Ellipsis every time anyone interacts with a high ranking bad guy?
Yeah I get Navani and Venli are both nervous around this nazi scientist bitch but come on dude, find other ways of showing that shit.

I was reading Confessions of A Mask by Yukio Mishima today, and I bawled my eyes out like a little bitch.
It was around page 50 or 60, I forget. The whole book I believe is a biography of Yukio Mishima, though he tries to hide it by using a pseudonym, it's basically him. He was born in 20's Japan and was very socially isolated, but was always kindof homosexual in terms of loving masculinity and whatnot. It's a very interesting book.

Around that page, he meets his first real "Love" I'd say, name is Omi, and it's some rebellious-type kid in school around 1937, a few years older than him, Omi is quite the beauty, and Yukio admits it's mostly a physical attraction, but when I read the whole two pages of them talking for the first time, I just bawled out like a little bitch. I felt the story so much and so close to my heart, but why? He's a fag, homo, cunt, blahblahblah, I get it. But it was so relatable and believable, and reminds me of my own life.

Why am I like this anons? Any other readers of Mishima here?

>be me
>been working for a year now
>have done my best to put my autism to good use and be known for my absolute work ethic
>Corona Virus results in "non-essential employees" being forced to take leave
>I'm one of those asked to go home
>I feel bad bros. I'm considering terminating my contract.
>If I go back I will not put in as much effort any more
Am I misreading the whole situation? What books can help me put things into positive context?
