Somewhat agree.
At times he's made sense in terms of how we express ourselves thru myth, metaphor, symbols, so on.
Other times, I just can't wrap my head around what the fuck he was thinking. I've never seen any alchemical symbolism in any of my dreams, nor have I ever gotten much helpful information in them. Honestly seems like a lot of dream content is completely irrelevant and just another random process of the brain.
I don't like how he so readily boxes people into categories as well with the archetypes. It's a nice thought, but you can't solve everyone's situation by generalizing details about their life and ambitions.

Jung kind of postulates his theories in an intuitive way - the big picture looks nice. If you zoom in though, half of it seems too far out there. Still an interesting read nonetheless. I never tried active imagination in depth, but I bet it would be good for stimulating creative ideas
