Typical opinion of an ignorant person. The Greco-Roman tradition and the Christian tradition are not opposed. They melt together. Capitalist mdernity, instead, opposes and destroys both of them.

De Giorgio was a close friend of Guenon, as well as Evola's unique fellow for hiking in the Alps. He wrote The Roman Tradition, in my opinion the greatest masterpiece of the traditionalist movement. There are many fascist elements in it, but it's much more than that. De Giorgio had an extraordinarily deep christian faith (he even met Padre Pio) and he hated modern society and capitalism more than anyone else. The Roman Tradition is even raving at times. But overall it's an authentic masterpiece of traditional thought and Christian mysticism. He was also into the occult (he wrote under a pen name in the Ur Group) and studied Dante for his entire life. He believed Dante was the only Supreme Poet after Virgil.

In one word: De Giorgio was BASED. But guess what? You have to learn Italian if you want to read him.
