Not exactly what you asked for, but Eric Hoffer's The True Believer analyzes mass movements in general, and some of his insights are definitely applicable to revolutionary movements.

anyone here has made political activism and political philosophy a kind of substitute for religion and interpersonal contact? 27 yo KHHV collectivist anarchist here and my radical politics is the only way to cope with life I participated in black blocs in the past to release the tension. what are some good books that detail the psychology causes and effects of political fanaticism? I personally only know of Hoffer's "True Believer"
