Good news, everyone!

I'm playing Falstaff in Henry IV, Part 1!

Now for the complication.

We've already run all the scenes at least once each, but I feel like I'm still having trouble really getting into character. As I understand it, Falstaff is essentially Bender as written by Shakespeare, but I feel like I'm still missing something about him. The other characters all seem so hostile to him. I can understand considering him a bit annoying, but by the end of the play Hal seems to practically hate the guy (at least the way we're acting it), even though he doesn't get rid of him until the end of Part 2.

What am I missing here? Anyone have advice on how I can be a better Falstaff?

Good news everyone!
Medea: Harlan's World came in the mail today. Of special note is that it is signed by: Larry Niven, Frederik Pohl, and Robert Silverberg.
I also found a retailer that sells The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Analog, and Asimov's.
The bad news is in my excitement I forgot to ask about (i) back issues in stock (ii) securing a monthly order (iii) Interzone and Weird Tales. They also stock them not in their Literature section by 'exotica' I think it was called, next to Amateur Archeologist and True Detective and conspiracy theory & esoteric magazines - still in the ghetto.

When you're reading an autobiography of a famous person, do you read it in their voice?

Just curious to know if anyone else does it.
