again, I find the word kind of laughable - the notion that anyone would use it as an insult just seems to me ridiculous. I don't mean to demean you or any racism you faced - anyone who would use it seriously is beyond contempt. I grew up in an area that was very tolerant, especially towards Asians, and it would be the furthest thing from my mind that someone would seriously use that word as a slur.
