I don't have the energy or even desire to read anymore. It's sad. Back in 2014 when I had a spiritual awakening or something I was feeling deep and intellectual and I wanted to read books. But I feel like I've fallen out of grace or something and both my spiritual and my intellectual desires have dwindled and I feel like I don't have the energy to read. I actually feel stupider.

Try an audiobook. They're entertaining and easy to listen to. Nice blogpost my man.

why are you blogging here? is it because you feel bad about yourself? You seem like a smart person who is capable of fixing themselves up if you are able to analyze yourself. As long as you are healthy your enthusiasm to read or be intellectual isn't important. If you came for the attention, you came to the right place!

Actually you might be right. I work night shift and that might have something to do with it. Although I only began working night shift in 2016 and I think my spiritual and intellectual faculties felt like they began to dwindle before that. Fuck my job, such a fucking black hole, really kills your soul and rots your brain, I feel like an empty husk of a man.

It takes a very specific kind of person to be able to work nights in a healthy way. I don't think it's a good way for most people to live. Last time I looked at >>>/fit/ the sticky had a very good guideline for how to sleep right. It was extremely helpful for me and I think it's something everyone should read. Sleep is much more important to a healthy life than most people seem to think.

Disregard the part about /fit/. The last time I looked at it was years ago and it looks like the sticky has changed now. The gist of it was that you should sleep at night and only at night and that you should turn off anything that produces light while also keeping your sleep very consistent so that you are getting 8 hours of sleep every night during the same time time block in as close to complete darkness as you can manage.
