I've always read Plato and Plotinus with fervor, as someone who doesn't study it in the academy. However, I've been dating a Philosophy major and I just can't deal with her repertoire and the discussions she puts me in with her friends. It's terrifying, they try to smash me every moment as if they were scared of people who actually believe in absolute moral. Now I'm mining my way through Heidegger, trying not to get cucked because of the superior mentality of the analytics she studies with.
