Someday you, I, everyone we know, will be dead.
Someday no one will know of Shakespeare, no one will know of Jesus
Someday humans will vanish. And even if they self-evolve into demigods of some sort, they too will pass away into that void.
None of it will matter in the big scheme of things.
So?

I'm 19 years old.

I am handsome, smart, athletic and virile.

I have a novel that is in it's final editing stage, and a creative writing professor at my college has read the first draft and thinks it's saleable.

I have a girlfriend who is confident, articulate, playful and spontaneous.

I have a small group of interesting friends from different social and academic backgrounds, and I also have many other acquaintances who see me as a reliable source of humour and good company.

Both my parents are alive and in good health.

I have no regrets.

I have already experienced three existential crises, the latter of which was described as having the depth and profundity of a man twice my age.

I am a passionate lover, a sharp thinker, and a trader of witty repartee.

I am not self-pitying, meek or needlessly humble.

I will live a good life at your expense.

Hahah
Existential crisis just means you take seriously your mortality. Then you evaluate that you may have done bad life choices considering your limitedness. Existential crisis or how they call it just exists within a culture that denies death, those of us that knew all along don't have existential crisis because they've always been conscious of it.

Stop having sex. Seriously. The longer one goes without sex the more one feels that life is meaningless/pointless. The goal of every living organism is to reproduce and not having this goal fulfilled is the worse thing that can happen to a living thing.

Is this gonna be a competition, where the younger you were, the more intelligent that makes you or something?
That's just retarded, some children experience trauma from a young age so they stop living in that childlike bliss a lot earlier than other kids. I think it's just a matter of what you're exposed to as a kid.
I've been depressed since I was about 10-11, stopped believing in god a couple years later, and started having existential panic attacks around the same time. This was mostly due to my physical illness that alienated me from everyone and forced me to think about this stuff.

Like I said, I'm not bragging. I'm really just curious.
I had a rough upbringing and childhood and always attributed that to my early development and existential realization, and wondered how other people might match up, if perhaps there would some commonality.

5-6, it was the same as >>13214608 but I was about to go asleep, and I thought about how the blackness of sleep would be like dying but forever. I wasn't raised religious so I thought there was nothing after death, and I was afraid I'd randomly die in my sleep. I remember bawling profusely and my family comforting me in the living, my older sister mentioned something about how Egyptians believed in life after death, at some point I got tired and went back to bed.

My father was physically and emotionally abusive to the whole family, and my mother was domineering and disliked males, which was palpable to me even as a kid. She was also very nurturing, oddly, and had a rough life herself so I don't blame her. She's one of the reasons I became interested in literature. She'd read to me and encourage me to read from a very young age.
I recall having suicidal thoughts at around ten or so.
