If you're mentally ill I would say the hardest book to read is everything from Carl Jung. Because you will understand the root cause and comprehend the content but that won't cure your mental illness. It may be that you feel even more uncomfortable afterwards. And you will not understand why you are not healed, even though you can understand your life, but you can not control your feelings. You can only register them. Keep that in mind.

And don't be confused by other opinions. When the hard time is over you can stop taking the medication. And you'll see, it's all up to you. No matter what someone else thinks. You did it yourself.
