How can the teleology of something be "bad". Teleology implies definite use (ie. usefullness) incel brainlet.

>> No.13900786

>>13900756
its not that the teleology is without use, its just that the conclusions are unpleasant. We're meant to recognize that individual existence is fundamentally undesirable and reduce the number of unique minds in the continuum by ceasing from procreation and creation of other new sentience.

>It's another nihilist wankfest

Why I'm not surprised, in the immortal words of Brendan Fraser.

"Every time I re read Camus and Sartre I keep thinking to myself. Why does the existential dilemma have to be so damned bleak.

Yes, we are alone in the universe, yes life is meaningless death is inevitable but is that necessarily so depressing?"

It just looks weird because it's making a paragraph of each sentence or two. The post is only expressing one idea so it should be all together. It's a matter of convention mostly, people don't write 4chan posts like that usually so it disrupts the reading flow. Having a space between the blocks of text is used to create a pause in the reader's mind that tells them a new idea is being presented, when you're writing in a word document or something you can double space because the paragraph indentation or a larger gap between paragraphs serves the same function, though I still don't really like double-spacing in that context either.

wtf I love Sartre now

>> No.13900962

>>13900950
Forgot to mention, if you're writing this way, then when you do want to start a new idea you have no way to signal that, because the space normally used for that has already been employed in how you're separating your sentences. It makes a muddle of the post.

But they were different ideas anon, and I was quoting the pause in the movie speech also, after all I was watching the movie and writing.

desu i like typing with 1.5 spacing. Single space spacing is too tight and hurts readability.
