Every significant intellectual and scientist before like 1900 came from wealth, so I'm not sure you can actually fault people for that, just kind of the nature of the society we live in. Tangentially, the fact that such a small percentage of the population was even literate enough to participate in academia is a pretty good argument for Marx's Historical Materialism - social and philosophical developments were made because they were both possible and materially necessary, the actual individuals were not that significant. I dunno, I'm kinda pseuding out, need to write less and read more.

Whig historiography. These "developments" were made becuase they served the interests of wealthy patrons. Marx would be nothing without Engels or his other sponsors, just as Greta would nothing without her wealthy corporate patrons, establishment media apparatus etc.

Not your typical liberal friendly environmental advocate nor the standard child activist parroting what adults want to hear, Greta Thunberg is a breath of fresh air in a genre that can sometimes feel stagnant. And though there are moments where we might wish for a more radical expression of the sentiments she brings to the table, she is nonetheless an absolute page-turner who points fingers, names names and advocates for violence against the bourgeois.

You know, Greta's legal in her native land. I wonder how much sexual abuse she's suffered at the hands of the people that sign her checks. Well, the checks her parents get. I doubt Greta gets much in the way of straight revenue. She's probably happy to just get a camera pointed at her and people patting her on the back in between trips under the desk of some kike millionaire. It's pretty sad, honestly. She is so obviously just being used, she's got to realize it deep down. Oh well, nothing any of us can do about it. Isn't that interesting, how today with the Internet we can bear witness to a limitless amount of suffering that we are, at the same time, ironically detached from? I'll never meet Greta, never meet anyone who has met her, and I'll probably never experience any significant change in my life from her actions (in the sense that she is merely a puppet, not an agent), and yet I know about her and using my inductive reasoning ability can make predictions about what she has suffered that are probably 50% true or better. What a world. Thanks for reading my blog.

Greta never actually states any specific points or arguments that can help the current enviromental state, further than when she talks about "climate change" and "CO2 emitions" things that are to broad to be solve. No mentions of how nuclear energy is 50% more efficient than any other energy source and how if oil companies where to switch to nuclear energy shortages would not be a thing or how the 90% of waste and pollution is done by big corp. She doesnt talked about how a large majority of jobs in her own country are dedicated to oil transport and that they are major exporters of energy, that is pruduce from oil.
She only targets republican figures while not talking about democrats or important leftist figures whom have oil business. And talks about the rigth as if it is some sort of one-world goverment, while dissmissing that the rigth has been on a decline ever since the 90s

The problem is that Greta's statements and behavior and image don't constitute a solution to the problem of climate change. Shaming people for their behavior won't make them change it, and it's people that have to change their behavior for the world to be saved, not organizations and institutions. Change is always ALWAYS bottom-up.

The bourgeois left loves Greta for two reasons. The first is that they think change is top down, because as economic and cultural beliefs they have extremely inflated perceptions of their own importance. So they think that if we collectively whine to daddy government about climate change, daddy government can ride over top of all the deplorables and save the day, because that's what they were taught in their privileged childhoods. They think the strong few control the weak many, and that therefore it is a breach of the contract for the strong few not to police them. This is because they are, fundamentally, fascists.

The second reason is that, as bourgeois fascists, they love Kafka traps. If rightoids (who are, nowadays, anti-bourgeois) don't argue with Greta: "Haha, you can't even argue against this little girl!" If they do argue with her: "Shame on you, being mean to this poor little girl! Look how weak your position is, when you can even be provoked by a child!"

The fact that this trap only holds up insofar as the fact that Greta owes everything she's got to the efforts of a giant propaganda complex serves as an indictment of the rank stupidity of modern politics and our sure slide into a dark age.

Stop waxing philosophical on shit you clearly haven't looked into; the culprit always has been heavy industry and the 3rd world; if literally everyone in the US bought a Prius tomorrow it wouldn't do dick. It's like when feminists write angry twitter posts about catcalling directed at 95% white readerships

This is why people hate Greta, it's all performative therapeutic sound and fury hurled at people who aren't to blame and if you disagree you're "punching down" because guys she's neuroatypical

You will literally never hear about the actual solutions to this problem - gen4 nuclear, carbon scrubbing from the atmosphere, carbon credits - because they don't involve performative personal sacrifice

My plan to solve the environmental crisis involves having lots of kids, forcing them to do well in school while excelling in sport, teaching them shooting and public speaking in their free time, encouraging lots of social activity and normalcy. Like, if all the kids are playing some video game system or whatever, I'll get it for them. They can go to some parties, they can call me if they get drunk and need a ride no big deal as long as they're still good to each other, respectful to me and my wife, kind to their peers, getting excellent grades, making progress in their sports.
But, every few weeks, we have a family discussion about Uncle Ted, the evils of corporate environmental destruction, how the future is getting leveraged for modern day profits, and how the systems of control prevent the masses from acting.
Then, I'm gonna set them loose on academia and the underground. Mostly I want them to have fun but I think they'll know that their purpose is to save humanity from itself through their leadership, art, example, and possibly their destructive wrath.
You're welcome in advance.

You can't just talk about Greta Thunberg's falling into a Lidingö kennel and being copulated with so gruesomely her eyes acquired then their haunting strabismic skew, no, it would be unconscionable to belabor how there and then no part of knot-puppet Greta was unavailable to hound after air-snapping hound, because I'm pretty certain that sort of thing never quite happened, although I spend very little time in Sweden, generally speaking. But if someone came up to you and swore upon their lesbian mothers lives that Greta Thunberg took Mastiff knot on the regular, or that she actually is a kind of chimera after being vaccinated against so many parvo, bordetella and canine influenzas that her genome is now deeply spritzed with doggie DNA, or that her parents even endorsed the "curious" interspecies relations because they improved her school work, it would be tough to produce much evidence to the contrary unless you're already a seasoned private investigator authorized to operate on Swedish territory. And so it would be entirely up to you whether you in any way believe or endorse such apocrypha and anecdotes, doing one's best to ignore the frequency that you encounter these claims, that Greta Thunberg's canine period was simply a phase and that she now aspires to envelope equines and bovines and allegedly even the fuzzy sinewy forearms of HIV+ gay men or that Greta's parents regularly overdose the migrant prostitutes they invite into their red room and being such connected VIPs, the Swedish Government is more than happy to send each and every broken Thunberg sex toy whether human, animal or mineral into discrete medical incinerators, it's tough to say how much of it is true and one can only ever decide for her or xirself.

Be honest, none of you actually hate this kid, you're just riding the hate train because it's fun to conform. Some kid says take the environment more seriously and I'm supposed to believe that that's enough of an insult for all you to call her a cunt, kike, nigger, bitch, retard, etc? Yeah, the media fawning over her is cringe and they are clearly disingenuous in their support for her. But an autistic teenager being put in the same room as some politicians and telling them that they aren't doing enough is really all it takes for you guys to ape out? I've seen threads about real environmental disasters and there's never this much uproar. So what's the deal? It's pretty obvious your all not angry about how she's not doing enough since nobody actually talks about what should be happening unless it's a conversation about Greta. Not to mention the fact that democratic countries have by and large been electing climate change deniars. Is the kid really the one at fault? Is she really so wrong that you take time out of your day to call her a rich Jewish whore with nigger features? Obviously, this isn't the case. Pretty sure you have all been literally jewwed by conservative media into taking time out of your day to make fun of a kid who doesn't effect you. Either way, her worth is showing because the only time contrarians ever discuss climate solutions is when they want to criticize Greta. So shes clearly making a difference.

>big oil has a documented historical connection with the CIA and the state when it comes to shaping policy both domestically and overseas

It goes back earlier than that. In November 1935, Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler wrote

"I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer; a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902–1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents."

>didnt this bitch have everything given to her by her family?

well for one she doesn't have a proper upbringing, she doesn't even have autonomy. she was manufactured from birth to serve a political purpose. she's not in school because she's too busy playing her codified role as a glorified marketer, heteronomously conditioned from before her brain ever entered its earliest stages of development.

this is the face of our future "elites" - a bunch of uneducated nouveau riche salespeople performing scripted roles predetermined from birth. greta thunberg is the kind of person who will be running your country in a matter of decades.
