IT is not necessarily your body that desires, it's your soul. And because you haven't actually reached enlightenment such that your desire for this world has dissipated, and you instead took a shortcut, you will reincarnate as an even lower form of being to whom enlightenment would be an even more arduous concern.

If you don't want to reincarnate as a nigger, don't kill yourself, it is not the solution.

You're broadly correct, but just to clarify - there is no soul concept in Buddhism. You must, however, live out the entirety of the life you have (and must take all steps to preserve it) so that you exhaust your karmic debt. By committing suicide, as you say, you'll simply revert back to lower status, which means you enter the realms where you cannot affect karma at all.

This is the central principle of Buddhism. That being born human (which is upper realm along with gods, deva, boddhisatva, and buddhas) means you are given a great advantage in being able to affect your karma. Your karmic debt must be paid in full in order for you to move to the higher realms. That's the basic and entire lynchpin of Buddhism. If you go back to the lower realms, it will take you aeons to cycle back to even here again.

2 reasons:
1. suicide doesn't end suffering, you're consciousness and thought stream are only there for the suffering that precedes suicide, they only experience the suffering prior to suicide but as they cease along with that suffering its not as if they got rid of the suffering attached to them.

2. there is a certain arbitrariness between death and life. in essence you're constantly dying and being reborn in every moment, so suiciding is not really necessary.

you know very well what i mean by it ends suffering you dont need to nitpick small details. if you are not concious you are not suffering. the purpose of buddhism is to stop living, suicide does just that. so for buddhists that dont believe in reincarnation why wont they just kys?
