This is hard to prove, as according to Hobbes, the natural state of humans will form a common-wealth. This inevitably follows the all too familiar path coinciding with the various attributes of the common-wealth and their given environment. Although, I do believe that given our current standards of living, as well as our complete reliance upon physical and geographically limited natural resources, it is possible for those who surround the deposits to form a collective common-wealth which acts as a de facto union untowards the greater Leviathan.
