You spend the last 5 years working on a philosophical treatise that will completely revolutionize the Western canon. You have trivialized almost everything for your project and are left with no degree, academic relationships or friends that can provide help.

You finished your work and want to bring it into the world.

What steps do you take? Remember, you ideas are light years ahead of current thought.

Ted was way ahead of you on that one

Depending on the conclusions of your treatise find the medium that most easily expresses them be that verbal, visual or other wise and then attempt to create a sort of layered curriculum to introduce those ideas to the laymen. At which point the internet is your friend - using social media, boards like this, twitter... again, depending on the platform where the combination of the audience of the platform and the interface that best suites these entry-level bites of your treatise as a way of luring them into the deepend to total involved study.
If you've communicated it right, to the right people, in the right way; and if you understand memetics, then it will begin to self-propagate.

This involves sacrificing the potential complex elucidation for a more 'dumbed down' version. Could you manage to maintain the original form and publish to the public?

yes and no. It's more like how you put an undercoat down before you paint your wall.
Kairos my man! You create stepping stones that lead to the complex elucidation. In fact your proper manipulation of that gives you the best chance of having your ideas understood properly rather than being bastardized by third parties and interpretation.

Fair point. But this assumes one has the volition and means to spend time on 'putting the undercoat down' or waiting for the opportune time, Kairos. First, let's say you've finished the work but still have many other works that are still undone and need time and attention. Putting time in making sure the public has an easier time digest your first work is already taking time away from the rest of your potential work. Why would you sacrifice for that so it can be a bit more easy for the public. Secondly, what do you think, in concrete, are those 'stepping stones'? Are those other books (easier versions) of the same treatise? essays? forum posts?

If your ideas are hard to understand you're either bad at communicating them or they're not logically consistent. Either way, the onus is on you.

Kairos is a continuum, not a discrete moment.
Look, any more specificity about the means by which you put it out I can't say without actually knowing what your treatise is about. For all I know marionette theater may be the best medium, maybe it 8-bit style GIF loops. I don't know. They are not necessarily easier versions but may prime or provide tools or mental scaffolding that makes one better positioned to read the rest, but more often than not they are intentionally glib summaries that leverage concepts or ideas that an audience will already have.
I know you already know what I'm about to say, but it needs to be emphasized at least so you know where I'm coming from - philosophies aren't learned in one big gulp like a crocodile, there are nested concepts, ideas, interrelations, associations, subtleties that physically need neurons to spout axons and dendrites in certain arrangements before people can 'get it'.
I can't tell you what the best use of your time is, how much time you need, or whether you should weigh propagation ahead of thinking.
Nor can I tell you a bespoke dissemination strategy for your particular philosophy without having some sort of grasp of it.

The questions you've got to ask yourself are
>Why am I pursuing this?
>Who do I want to understand my treatise?
>What is feasible?
Good luck.
