This arguments just doesn't stick. The grievousness of a crime is measured by its offense. You punish somebody to the extend they have offended or injured a person, an order, the common good, whatever. But God is impassible; how can he become offended? Supposing God is the absolute good, the only one hurt by their distance to Him is themselves for having cut themselves from this good. But God suffers nothing, nor does he regain anything from punishing them. To punish a person who has been evil in this lifetime with more evil (i.e. an eternal cutting off of the person from this eternal Good, which is called damnation) is illogical. Supposedly this person should be punished to the extent of their evil actions which offended actual passible beings and then redirectioned towards the Good.
Besides, a God who is divinely simple created the entirety of existence in a single act; this same God is perfectly Good, meaning this single act should be, as well, perfectly Good, that is, the best possible act of creation. This means that the actions of all beings should ultimately turn to their best possible outcomes, as they all proceed in their temporal actions from the one, singular and perfect act of creation. So to believe that in the end of times MOST humans ever created will eternally suffer is also incongruent with the action of a perfectly simple, perfectly good being. God has no reason to cause suffering or let it be caused in any eternal way, because suffering is an evil or the result of an evil action, and for it to subsist eternally means God has eternally allowed evil in a manner that is not directed towards the Good.
