Why is he convinced that the "primitive man" was happy just living a basic life? Is there any evidence of that claim? For example, Schopenhauer writes:

Absolutely. His writings are entirely fallacious, moralizing nonsense that seems to stem entirely from his individual neuroses and emotional fragility. He should try reading Hume some time.

I dare anyone on this dumb board to prove to me that Kaczynski is anything more than a meme. We all have a good laugh at the idiots who take Eliot Rodgers' manifesto seriously, but how is taking Ted seriously any better, deep down? Ted is just a somewhat bigger pseud so he suckers in more people. As with anyone who writes a manifesto to justify killing people, everything he says was already said, more clearly and more accurately, by thinkers who came before him, ones who DIDN'T mail bombs.

Ted was not some loser he was a successful intelligent man with great future prospects, he fit the mold, he was beyond capable of prospering in modern human society.
And yet he still desired and found what he must've believed to be genuine happiness and fulfillment in a simple life outside the complexities of human society.
