I have read Notes from the Underground, Frankl's Man's Search for meaning, parts of the bible, various works by Heidegger, Adorno, Horkeimer, Nietzsche, and Hegel. Can anyone please recommend some literature for those struggling in this clown world and wanting to fucking die.

Self expression is the purest form of catharsis.
Write something yourself, I'm here to listen if you're willing.
I understand the struggle as well.

You need to divest yourself of the notion that your problem is an intellectual one, and that life just isn’t fun for you because you haven’t found the right framework of knowledge to understand in a positive way. Not only is this ineffective, it’s flat out egotistical.

Take some real inventory of your psychological state as it relates to your health, your past, your current social surroundings, the way you spend your time etc. Nobody becomes miserable by accident. You likely have a lot of baggage that you’re refusing to engage with by deflecting it all with this insane pursuit of meaning through a strictly literary praxis.

I read much of what you said. The existentialist condition is not an answer but a negation, more skeptical than the materialist stem bugs. I found it with a focus on the self, started with Siddhartha. Give that one a shot.

You don't have crippling depression if you are able to read. The main features of depression are apathy and ahedonia which would render the reading of single book impossible. Shiek Kennod Al Bin Gillmani, MD, proved that most people who claim to have "depression" are just American retards who self diagnose, see a specialist without GP consult, and then violin! Depressed! Then miraculously they get better after a single pill of a low efficacy drug which otherwise needs weeks to exert neurochemical changes. It's called not having depression. He goes further. The American disease is made up of narcissistic, moronic drama queens who are capable of reading and functioning just looking for social validation. It's just that they feel sad and want to die. Boo hoo! Fuck your entire kind. The Anglo of the Outback Refuted with a capital R, your entire existence. Crippling Depression? You dont even have depression.

Schizophrenics are the opposite of what was described. They and have high energy and guess what else is a prudent symptom? Self harm. This is more an accurate label for whatever the hell you have because you surely are not depressed.

Coming from someone who spent years indulging in mindless hedonism and is now a fucking mess without constant stimulation, reading the right stuff won't cure depression.
For me reading is nothing more than a more healthy way of entertaining myself while also improving my vocabulary and knowledge

Unironically BAP might be a good idea.
Also Ficino's writings are really nice - the 10pg excerpts from De Vita Libri Tres are extremely wholesome.
Marsilio Ficino was both a physician of the body as well as a physician of the soul.
Here's a mega link for that Ficino excerpt;

Wrong.

>depressed for 8+ years
>got into philosophy when I was 12 years old
>actually started with the greeks.
>finally read nietzsche...
>underwhelming.
>more depressed
>read bataille on nietzsche
>realize I had misunderstood parts of Nietzsche
>read jung just for the meme...
>start to examine my childhood
>REALLY start to examine my childhood
>realize most of my suffering was caused by an overwhelmingly large (yet hidden) heap of retarded beliefs inflicted on me by society.

I'm cured bros.

Your depression will not cease under the framework of a "clown world" - which will undermine any attempts at repairing your life. How are you supposed to pull yourself up when you sincerely believe that all is lost? Remember that in your current state of affairs your view is clouded due to a self reinforcing pessimism.

"Clown World" does not seep into every aspect of life, does not absolutely prevent you from a fulfilled life. You gotta find what silver lining you can and grab onto it. Don't worry about how small the source of meaning is, as long as you've got something to wake up for everything follows from there
