This is the most exciting and spiritually profound and sophisticated work of literature existing on the planet right now.

101:10.8.When you experience such a transformation of faith, you are no longer a slavish part of the mathematical cosmos but rather a liberated volitional son of the Universal Father. No longer is such a liberated son fighting alone against the inexorable doom of the termination of temporal existence; no longer does he combat all nature, with the odds hopelessly against him; no longer is he staggered by the paralyzing fear that, perchance, he has put his trust in a hopeless phantasm or pinned his faith to a fanciful error.
------------------------
101:10.9.Now, rather, are the sons of God enlisted together in fighting the battle of reality's triumph over the partial shadows of existence. At last all creatures become conscious of the fact that God and all the divine hosts of a well-nigh limitless universe are on their side in the supernal struggle to attain eternity of life and divinity of status. Such faith-liberated sons have certainly enlisted in the struggles of time on the side of the supreme forces and divine personalities of eternity; even the stars in their courses are now doing battle for them; at last they gaze upon the universe from within, from God's viewpoint, and all is transformed from the uncertainties of material isolation to the sureties of eternal spiritual progression. Even time itself becomes but the shadow of eternity cast by Paradise realities upon the moving panoply of space.

>Why yes, there dwells within the human mind a fragment of God, and there sojourns with the human soul the Spirit of Truth; and further these spirit forces conspire to enable material man to grasp the reality of spiritual values and to comprehend the philosophy of universe meanings; but even more certainly these spirits of the Divine Presence are able to assist man in the spiritual appropriation of all truth contributory to the enhancement of the ever-progressing reality of personal religious experience—God-consciousness, how did you know?

It's verbose. That's not the same thing.
It's well written in the same way that Dune is a masterpiece - it isn't and only pseuds think it is.

The many religions of Urantia are all good to the extent that they bring man to God and bring the realization of the Father to man. It is a fallacy for any group of religionists to conceive of their creed as The Truth; such attitudes bespeak more of theological arrogance than of certainty of faith. There is not a Urantia religion that could not profitably study and assimilate the best of the truths contained in every other faith, for all contain truth. Religionists would do better to borrow the best in their neighbors' living spiritual faith rather than to denounce the worst in their lingering superstitions and outworn rituals.
---------------
All these religions have arisen as a result of man's variable intellectual response to his identical spiritual leading. They can never hope to attain a uniformity of creeds, dogmas, and rituals—these are intellectual; but they can, and some day will, realize a unity in true worship of the Father of all, for this is spiritual, and it is forever true, in the spirit all men are equal.

Institutional religion BTFO

99:6.3.But as religion becomes institutionalized, its power for good is curtailed, while the possibilities for evil are greatly multiplied. The dangers of formalized religion are: fixation of beliefs and crystallization of sentiments; accumulation of vested interests with increase of secularization; tendency to standardize and fossilize truth; diversion of religion from the service of God to the service of the church; inclination of leaders to become administrators instead of ministers; tendency to form sects and competitive divisions; establishment of oppressive ecclesiastical authority; creation of the aristocratic "chosen-people" attitude; fostering of false and exaggerated ideas of sacredness; the routinizing of religion and the petrification of worship; tendency to venerate the past while ignoring present demands; failure to make up-to-date interpretations of religion; entanglement with functions of secular institutions; it creates the evil discrimination of religious castes; it becomes an intolerant judge of orthodoxy; it fails to hold the interest of adventurous youth and gradually loses the saving message of the gospel of eternal salvation.

Anybody who has looked into this book and seen the scale of the truth that it purports to convey can see that there is only two possibilities as to its nature, i.e. either it is THE new Bible, direct and full revelation in the clearest of terms for this new age of man coming directly from these celestial orders, or it is a gargantuan hoax, utterly self-defeating by its sheer depth of detail, by the reality that it puts forth. A more nuanced adversarial position might be to say that it is all the result of spirit channeling and thereby tainted with some sort of deception, but simply to look briefly into this book is to wash those fears away in the truly all-encompassing light of what is, almost undeniably, direct divine revelation. I'm really glad to see this book being posted on /lit/ and /x/ recently, but it's like what they say about some other books and in truth everything in that it will come into your life if you are meant to read it. The shills simply can't touch this book, as a reading of this thread will evidence, simply because there's really nothing negative to latch onto or just for fear of eliciting further interest Even the globohomos, I think, have not really tried to squash this book, of course you could think of it as being divinely protected; perhaps they fear God -- their general tactic seems to be what we can see filtered down to the shills: give it the least energy possible, and hope not too many people take the leap of faith.

Reminder: The 'sleeping subject' was Wilfred Kellogg, an autist with photographic memory like Kim Peek. William S. Sadler would provide Kellogg with the latest pages of his mystical musings, which Kellogg would then dutifully recite from memory "in session" in front of witnesses.

Next to the supreme satisfaction of worship is the exhilaration of philosophy. Never do you climb so high or advance so far that there do not remain a thousand mysteries which demand the employment of philosophy in an attempted solution.
------------------
The master philosophers of Paradise delight to lead the minds of its inhabitants, both native and ascendant, in the exhilarating pursuit of attempting to solve universe problems. These superaphic masters of philosophy are the "wise men of heaven," the beings of wisdom who make use of the truth of knowledge and the facts of experience in their efforts to master the unknown. With them knowledge attains to truth and experience ascends to wisdom. On Paradise the ascendant personalities of space experience the heights of being: They have knowledge; they know the truth; they may philosophize—think the truth; they may even seek to encompass the concepts of the Ultimate and attempt to grasp the techniques of the Absolutes.
