If someone got influenced in a way that made them end up in a situation of desiring death, then it's the right thing to influence them in a way that they don't.

Pessimism is virtually pointless. You can rave about conspiracies all you want, but this is one of the few philosophies, that does not provide any kind of solutions whatsoever.
