16071762 No.16071762 [Reply] [Original]

I know this is off-topic but i there's no other board with such extend knowledge on religion as this. So, basically, months ago i was going for a walk a little away from home and i passed in front of a house around 7pm and there was happening some sort of religious reunion, i wish to know what it was, i'll describe in prose for you:

As i passed by, i heard a terrible sound that pulled my attention, i walked back to observe and witnessed, inside a house, more than fifteen people sitting in wooden chairs, all turned to the same direction, where there was a retangular object with images on the wall, wich i could not distinguish since i lacked my glasses, but i reckon it had either an abrahamic or eastern aspect. The people were all reciting, or singing, the very same two or three words, maybe four, over and over in unnison, at a menacing haste, it wasn't in my language or any that i know, but it sounded foul and sublime at the same time, passionate but cold, i'd be conviced it was a mechanical sound, if i didn't have seen them there, for it emaneted from them with such perfection, such synchrony and might that it felt inhuman. Although terrified, i spied upon them for maybe six entire minutes, in wich they didn't, stop, didn't moved and didn't changed their chant in a single note, i approached a little to try to distinguish any symbol but couldn't, so i left, but that chant pursed me untill the next turn of the street, and it haunts me still.

Does anyone recognize this religion?
I tried searching budhists chants and prayers online but didn't found anything that sounded alike, budhist chants change, but that waso basically the same few alien words repeated vigorously over and over and over.
Also, rate my prose and punctuation, i wrote this on the fly just to keep the post slightly on-topic.

Those were our IRL mega based kekistanies, chanting to defeat moluch, worshipping the ancient Egyptian God kek.

Sitting in chairs while doing it seems to me distinctly western, as most other religious followings would be standing kneeling, or even prostrated

It may not have been a specific prayer or chant, but was simply a cantellation of a section of Torah. To a goy's ears I'm sure the language sounds like repetitive syllables and words.

That's the most accurate representation, imagine this very loud, 15 or more voices, over and over at a menacing haste.

Based on the middle paragraph OP posted I honestly thought this was going to be some creepypasta shit. Other than the run-on sentence, it was pretty well-written, feels planned (good job OP if you truly did write this 'on the fly', though definitely fix your punctuation).

If OP is begin legit, this scene sounds very New Age, more so than Jewish or Buddhist or Arabic. One thing I've noticed in new age circles: a lot worship a modern 'guru' or 'shaman' of sorts. Pretty cultish (they're basically schemes). The 'guru' comes up with his own chants and these chants probably won't appear in most online articles, typically only on the guru's official website.

As much as I'd like to believe OP isn't bullshitting, with every new post OP makes in this topic, it sounds like he's bullshitting, leading us to a punchline.
