A question for any Witcher fans out there, I heard Season of Storms takes place during the first book.

Does this mean I can read it first? I’m having a tough time deciding if I want to read the series or listen to it. So I figured I’d read the first book, while also listening to Story of Seasons. Recommended or will it fuck up the story / flow?

read it all in release order. you should always consume any series, no matter the medium, in release order.

The ending of Season of Storms has a small answer for what happens at the end of Lady of the Lake and therefore you need to read it in release order for the full experience.

Okay I’ll just stick to the books then and do it in order

WHY are most books so fucking ugly??? God damn I’m so sick of this trend, when will it end

This series is quite trash, I'm sure it was pretty good in the original polish, but the prose is weak in the official translation. I would recommend reading Gene Wolfe or Robert Jordan if you haven't already

?

I mean... Robert Jordan's prose is as mediocre as it gets.

read season of storm last anon, is better and intended in that way, trust me. have some chapters and motives that you understand after reading the complete series
