I love how much any great thinker's writing makes morons seethe. From Aristotle to Nietzche, every prof and every academic introduction will tell you "these ideas are bad lol whyd you buy the book" and think they've won. Talk of them being "obviously wrong" without examination, ect. It gives me hope though:

Even with all of their curation and censorship, these works will always exist as they do (barring absolute catastrophe). It is strange to think that the ideas we take for granted might be wiped off the face of the earth for a time (the coming dark age), but as long as a copy of Aristotle's Politics or N's Zarathustra exists there will be room for re-enlightenment. Already been through it once anyway.

again, that's personal preference. a philosophy teacher would be right to scoff at you over nietzsche; he's less a philosopher and more a phase for young people.

>a philosophy teacher would be right to scoff at you over nietzsche
Maybe Nietzsche wasn't a philosopher, but it's not really an indult/knock against him, rather the opposite. Even without that he was clever enough to largely affect philosophy and become the grandfather postmodernism.
Moreover, it's not hard to imagine that someone who spent a significant part of his life studying western philosophical tradition will often dismiss Nietzsche who dared to criticize it from the ground up.
>it's just a phase
Any philosopher can be. N appeals to edgy faggots who misinterpret him based on School of Life videos but it's far from his fault.
