I dislike the education industry, I'm not shilling for it, but it's on you to prove educational attainments (as in, actual standardized tests, not just diplomas) don't correlate with general education. Sounds intuitive that they would. Maybe you could make an argument "general knowledge" is better for a society as a whole than "specialized knowledge" and academia only tests the second? Maybe there are tests of general knowledge that have been done, you should look at that if you want your opinion to have some weight.

My claim could be translated to this : IQ and the Wealth of Nations, by Lynn, is generally true and only contains few mistakes. I don't really want to have a debate again, but know that it's an old one and that although common opinion and media is biased against the IQ side, it's defended itself well.
I'd make one caveat though ; it seems that putting a ton of money in your army allows you to be stronger than your wealth should suggest, like Russia's done.

The direction of history is towards capital, away from labour. It's immutable, guided by the laws of nature.

Practically speaking, I find it difficult to imagine that restaurants, with their particular margins and throughput, would achieve the economy of scale necessary to afford investments in automation. You need cooks, servers, hosts, and dishwashers. I doubt those tasks will be automated any time soon due to the lack of sufficient capital for most restaurants. To my knowledge, no one is out there investing in a machine that can cook on a line.
