Hi, I'm writing a paper comparing the book "Into The Wild" to the movie.

What are some differences/similarities I should write about?

So far, all I've come up with is the random tangents Krakauer goes off on in the novel (including personal stories etc.) that I didn't care for.

I'm not looking for a paragraph or page on the differences in the book, but just a sentence that I could elaborate on. Obviously I read the book and watched the movie, but I need a couple ideas to work with.

Senior in high school. Give me some ideas or fuck off. After browsing some of these threads, I'm beginning to notice the intelligence level of /lit/ is lower than I expected.

Barely payed attention to the movie and book, which I read several weeks ago. I could bullshit an essay if I had something to work off of.

Bro, it says in our rules (IN THE STICKY AT THE TOP OF THE BOARD) that we do not appreciate homework threads. A few tips:
1) Offer some points for discussion instead of waiting passively for us to give you ideas. If you actually offer some ideas for a bit of collaborative brainstorming it could actually evolve into a discussion beneficial to this community. Otherwise, your board only benefits YOU. This is not a homework board. It's a board made for creating literature.
2) It's just plain annoying if you make a board about homework concenring a book BEING DISCUSSED IN A THREAD ON THE FIRST PAGE OF A BOARD. Look around. THEY'RE DISCUSSING THIS BOOK IN A THREAD. What if you were to lurk a bit and spark up a discussion about the book versus the movie? I'd bet you would have gotten a lot more useful posts and discussion. It's not too late to delete the thread and try, although you've already significantly diminished your chances.

What a strange typo. I didn't mean to write that.
