It's a lot easier to address people with their already having those preferred pronouns and even some amount of transition, vs. people you've known long before under different pronouns. The exception is nonbinary people who do nothing to their appearance, that shit's hard to deal with, it's super easy for me to call a trans girl or trans guy by their pronouns but nonbinary people assigned female at birth or male at birth are hard to deal with. I just forget all the time.

Eh I don’t get the point, I’m not into literature for the aesthetic of being a reader or having shelves, I used to purchase books but the second I found I can just get them for free and read them wherever I want whenever I want I switched fully to digital. I can understand if you have a deep interest in books as historical objects, artifacts and so forth, a real antiquarian type, but I don’t see why (other than perhaps fear of loss of information ) you wouldn’t just go digital.
