How can I persuade muslims, christians and jews to abandon their faith, as they ought to do?

How can I convince the rich to redistribute their wealth, as they ought to do?

How can I get young men to stop being violent, as they ought to do?

How can I explain to everyone that they should all stop breeding for a few years, as they ought to do?

Why won't they cooperate, /lit/? It seems pretty obvious to me that my worldview is a correct one.

Hmm. The best method I can honestly think of would be to become immensely rich/influential, create a religion holding your ideals, and spread it around the world (probably through military force).

You won't rationalise everyone into your world view, for many, possibly most people, your opinions are simply not functional.

Watch the TED talk, it gives a good, albeit sometimes pseudo-scientific, perspective on religion/conservatism in general.

not at all, but good luck changing the opinion of someone else by displaying the invalidity of that opinion to them. Add a pinch of sophistry and you can invalidate most opinions in one way or another, whether your invalidation is valid is up to the opinion-holder to decide, and he can dismiss your invalidation with an equally valid or invalid invalidation. In the end, unless someone is open to changing their opinion, it is unlikely to happen, especially if holding that opinion is beneficial to them.
