It is a pity, though. That's part of the reason I use the guy's bathroom on occasion--on the off-chance that it might cause a legal stir. I figure it's safer for me to do it, since I'm a lady; to be the one to break the ice on the issue, that is, since I won't be seen as a pervert immediately. Then, once people become relaxed about chicks shitting in the men's room, out of obligation to be "fair" they'll have to allow the opposite to occur as well. Also is the pre-construction not just copying essentially so taking away part of the experience of the of giving the reader/viewer newness and challenge but in doing so adding in tradition to the work, blending the old with the new retelling the same story for the next generation making it all part of a greater thread?

I get a couple stares if seen with a copy of The Sun. I was questioned about my sexuality a few times while reading it in public.

I brought a Vonnegut novel to jury duty and the Baliff commented that it was "too smart" for him. Poor man. . .

I met my girlfreind at a baseball field, she was watching her boyfreind at the time play baseball.
Her boyfreind was my closest freind and I was there to show support, but had little interest in the game. I was reading Hyperion when she decided to start a conversation out of boredom that led to our eloping. Drama ensued.

Good times. Why would I let someones judgement of my passtime interfere? If anything it makes me feel sorry for them, because I can't help but think they are uncomfortable. I beleive they feel inadequate around a person they perceive as more imaginative or intelligent than they are.
