POST HERE YOUR QUESTIONS THAT DON'T DESERVE THEIR OWN THREAD:
>Books with X theme?
>What am I in for?
>What was his/her problem?
>Books like X?
>Do I need to read X to understand Y?
>other questions I can't think of right now

This is an experiment, /lit/ is complaining lately.
I think this could help the board quality overall.
Direct all questions that in your opinion don't deserve their own thread to here.
Keep this thread open if you like to help fellow anons out with their questions.
Turning this in a general avoids newfags asking those same questions over and over again.
Also other repetitive posts that don't really need their own thread can be directed here.

Feel free to discuss your thoughts about this becoming a general and maybe improve the template, and save it on our wiki so we could easily copy paste.

When I get hit with the inclination, basically. I reread Blood Meridian about 8 months apart. I reread Joseph and His Brothers and Lord of the Rings about two years apart. I reread Ovid's Metamorphoses about 4 years apart but then proceeded to continue rereading it for over a month. And I reread Moby-Dick about 7 years apart. There were a number of books I read last year I already want to reread but I have gotten more new books since so, probably better to give them another few months cooling period before I really consider picking one up again. The only plan I have set in stone is probably to reread Joseph again sometime next year.

The problem with these kinds of threads is that they aren't actually useful because they're filled with askers and not answerers. It's literally just a trick to contain all askers to one thread, and it always is on every board.

I don't know, I would say something as riddled with cliches as anime is a bad inspiration for writing anything beyond YA fiction, but if you are really good with prose you could try and see what happens. After all, some classics were turned successfully into anime back in the past, who's to say the opposite can't work?

Anything kafka. It's more direct acceptance and facing current problems in current circumstances and nigh useless or inapplicable considerations of possibilities, pasts, or futures. I wouldn't call it optimisim, just life- playing the cards you're dealt.
